Markael Studio does not collect personal or device data through Three Apples. The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Settings, completed-story history, and downloaded stories are stored on your device and are not sent to us.
About this policy
This policy covers version 1 of Three Apples: Armenian Tales, the iPhone and iPad app provided by Markael Studio for children and families. No account or sign-in is required.
Third-party analytics
The app contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It sends no analytics events, user identifiers, device identifiers, or reading activity to Markael Studio or an analytics provider.
Third-party advertising
The app contains no advertising, advertising SDKs, or ad networks. No information is collected or used for advertising.
Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell or share app users’ personal data or reading activity. We do not operate a backend database of users or their activity, and we do not upload reading preferences or history to third-party servers.
Apple provides purchases, restoration, and story downloads through its own services, as explained below. Apple handles information for those services under its own privacy policy.
Other user or device information
Markael Studio does not collect personal or device data through the app for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose. The information below is used on the device for the app’s features; it is not uploaded to us.
The app saves settings such as menu language, text size, highlighting, and sound preferences to remember your choices. It stores completed-story identifiers and completion dates to suggest unread stories, and keeps downloaded stories on the device for reading and playback. Markael Studio does not receive or have access to these settings, records, or downloads.
Device backups, if enabled, are managed by Apple under your device and Apple Account settings and may include app data under Apple’s policies. Markael Studio does not operate a cloud backup or sync service.
Services provided by Apple
Apple provides app distribution, subscription purchases and restoration through StoreKit, and story downloads through Apple-hosted Background Assets. Subscription entitlements are checked on the device using StoreKit. Markael Studio does not receive your name, email address, or payment details from these transactions.
Downloads, purchases, restoration, and some subscription checks require communication with Apple. Apple handles information for its services under its own privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
Children can use the app without providing a name, email address, or other personal information. Purchases, settings, and external links are accessed through the grown-ups’ area behind a parental gate.
Website contact options are intended for parents, guardians, and other adults. Please do not send children’s names, photos, or other personal information when requesting support.
Retention and deletion
Settings and completed-story records remain on the device until the app is deleted. Downloaded subscription stories can be removed in Parents → Tales on this device. Deleting the app, rather than offloading it, removes its local app data. Apple-managed backups are controlled separately through your device and Apple Account settings.
Because Markael Studio does not receive your settings or reading history, we have no server copy to retrieve or delete. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; manage or cancel subscriptions separately through your Apple Account.
Support correspondence
If an adult independently contacts us, we receive their email address and the information they choose to send, solely to respond to their request. This correspondence is separate from app usage and is covered by our website and contact privacy policy. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing studio@markael.com.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. Where a change requires consent, we will seek it before collecting the relevant data.
